We are very proud to announce Matthew Elliot as a Nominee for the Outstanding Security Officer Award.
Matthew Elliot began with Southern Cross Protection in November 2014. He was 19 years old at the time and started initially as a casual, one day a week. After proving to be extremely capable and adaptable, and demonstrating values in line with the company’s, he was promoted to a full-time employee.
During his year and a half as a Patrol Officer, he matured quickly and became a natural influencer of the people on his team. He frequently received company rewards of recognition for his reporting and outstanding feedback from clients.
Matthew’s undeniable honesty and commitment made him the perfect candidate to fill a Senior Patrol Officer role that opened up. He was able to lead effectively, engage his team and produce very good results. As Safety is the company’s greatest commitment and no. 1 value, Matthew led his team in producing outstanding safety results.
Matthew became the perfect candidate to undertake an internal development program we call Track For Your Future. He attended the initial evaluation and development program we call Family Village Tribe. This program enables us to evaluate candidates for possible future leadership and opportunities. On completion, Matthew was given support to fast-track his career and development.
We are so proud to have been able to offer Matthew an Operations Supervisor opportunity in August of this year. His achievements so far have made him most deserving of formal industry recognition, which is why we are honoured to nominate him for the Outstanding Security Officer award at ASIAL’s Security Awards 2017.
