Yesterday, September 15th, 2015, the iconic trophy Melbourne Cup was in Mackay, as part of the Emirates Melbourne Cup tour. Southern Cross Protection had the privilege of being an essential part of the event.
As people gloved-up for the chance to take photos of the $175,000 18-karat gold trophy, Southern Cross Protection staff Brad Finn closely guarded this iconic trophy and kept an eagle eye on the cup as it stood at the Mackay Entertainment Convention Centre and the Mackay Turf Club for more than 13 hours.
