On the 25th and 26th of March, Southern Cross Protection attended the Secure Australia Conference 2015, which was a congregation of Government representatives, Security Experts and Senior Security Management figures from leading national corporations.
The aim of the conference was to discuss and plan business continuity plans for the survival of national enterprises in the light of growing security threats.
Southern Cross Protection’s Managing Director, Patrick Bourke (above, third from left), was a special guest speaker at the conference, informing and directing the attendees to the future of Enterprise Security. Patrick’s presentation covered ‘Using Security Convergence to ensure a Resilient Enterprise’.
This included:
- Benefits and challenges of integrating and merging disparate organisational silos
- Compelling drivers for change – the emergence of integration platforms
- Industry best practices in developing and operating a global security operations centre
