This letter comes from Queensland:
“Good Afternoon. My name is John, I live in Perth but I’m on holiday in Brisbane. I wanted to communicate my thanks to your patrol officer on Bartles Hill at Albion on Thursday Night. My kid ran off and jumped over to the other side of the fence at the scenic lookout there and got scared, which essentially had him stuck over the other side. The patrol officer came along and assisted my son in getting off the ledge and back on the right side of the fence in seconds. I offered him a cash reward to say thanks, but he refused stating ‘it’s all a part of the service’. Please pass on my thanks to that officer for rescuing my son from the awkward predicament. Your company is a credit to the industry. Most guards would refuse [to help].”
