Southern Cross Protection Patrol Officers pride themselves on being committed to the safety of local communities, even if that means responding to incidents outside of their regular call of duty. Patrol Officer Patrick George was on a routine patrol on Saturday Dec 14 2013, when he noticed smoke billowing out of a shop front. He attended the scene in time to aid two people out of the smoke filled building. After comforting them and awaiting emergency services to arrive, he began to assist in redirecting the onlooking traffic on the Hume Highway to allow a clear passage for the emergency vehicles.

Great initiative, Patrick. Southern Cross Protection is proud to have Patrol Officers like you.
