For most, family is one of life’s greatest blessings. During this past weekend, Southern Cross Protection’s Daniel Byrne was the key in reuniting Maureen Reidy with hers.
While doing his usual patrol duties at Haileybury College in Brighton last Sunday morning, August 2nd, Daniel found an elderly woman (Maureen) sitting on a seat near the campus’ tennis courts. After quickly reporting this to Haileybury authorities, he rang Emergency Services, and watched Maureen while waiting for the ambulance. Minutes later, Emergency Services came and took Maureen to Alfred hospital.
Apparently, Maureen had been missing since Saturday and somehow got inside Haileybury grounds.
Daniel’s sincere concern spared Maureen and her family from further uncertainty about her whereabouts.
Southern Cross Protection is happy to have been a part of this noteworthy story, and to have the likes of Daniel Byrne carry out the organisation’s family-inspired values and services.
